This course was developed in the close cooperation of Education and Research Cen for International Peacekeeping of National Defence University of Ukraine named af lvan Cherniakhovskyi (ERCIP), Jefferson Institute, Norwegian Defence International Centre, Center for Simulations and Project for Implementing Advanced Distance Learning of Serbian Republic within th Distributed Learning at National Defence University of Ukraine named after lvan Cherniakhovskyi.|
The course content is based on the multiple sources, elaborated, summarized and use on the Aviation Radio Communication Course for Aircrews of National Contingents which is regularly conducted at the ERCIP. It is organized in a subject related structure and combines historical data concerning the UN Missions' areas, functional data, instructions and aviation standardized operational procedures as well as personal combat experience of the subject matter experts.
It particularly gives an overview of the historical context of the UN missions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRG) and Liberia where the UArainian helicopter detachments are currently successfully deployed, aerodrome structure, boarding procedures, examples of safety briefings, mission an flight documents air radio communication procedures.
The essential purpose of the course is the preparation of candidates who will be considered as aircrew members in the UN missions (DRG, Liberia and Côte d'Ivoire).
